Every afternoon at 1:30 p.m., the world’s top cowboys, cowgirls, and animals put on an incredible display of talent and tenacity, with each win leading up to Showdown Sunday at GMC Stadium, the World’s Largest Outdoor Rodeo.
COWBOYS RANGELAND DERBY
The world’s top Chuckwagon event features nine weekly heats with 27 drivers, their outriders, and 162 horses competing for prize money and bragging rights during the Evening Show at GMC Stadium.
POWWOW
The Calgary Stampede Powwow is a one-of-a-kind event that will take place at the Saddledome from July 12 to 14. It includes competitive dancing and fantastic drumming, and everyone is welcome.
TEAM ROPING
The Calgary Stampede Rocky Mountain Cup, which will make its debut in 2022, will bring Canada’s wealthiest day of professional Team Roping to Stampede Park. Join us as 30 of the greatest teams in the world rope for $100,000 in prize money and the first ever Rocky Mountain Cup Championship, which is free with Stampede Park entrance.

Take your Stampede experience to new heights as you soar 150 feet through the Stampede skyline, with views from the mountains to Midway and everything in between. Canada’s largest traveling ferris wheel will make its lone Canadian stop at the Calgary Stampede in 2022!

July 10th is a Sunday. Bring the whole family to the Calgary Stampede and enjoy FREE entertainment for all. Admission is free until 11 a.m., and complimentary pancake breakfast will be served until 10 a.m., while supplies last.

Wednesday, July 12th FREE entrance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as FREE gate admission for Seniors (Ages 65 and up) all day. Come celebrate the spirit of community and everything that makes our city wonderful!

Thursday, July 13th FREE admission for children 12 and under and accompanying adults from 7:30-10:30 a.m. From 8 to 10 a.m., there will be a FREE variety show on the GMC Stadium Grandstand Show stage.

Pancakes for 10 days! Rain or weather, join us around the city early in the morning for a western pancake breakfast complete with entertainment. Make plans to attend one of our FREE breakfasts during the Calgary Stampede this year.

TO PARK
The Stampede Parade entertains our town each year with a display of colorful floats, gorgeous horses, and high-energy marching bands. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., walk right from the Parade to the Park and receive FREE entrance.
