Fuji Rock Japan 2022
Fuji Rock is the biggest music festival in the Japan, with hue crowd ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 people attending in normal years. Held in a stunning Naeba Ski Resort about a 90-minute train ride from Tokyo, it has been running since 1997 (canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19) and the international crowd had been steadily increasing over the years. The festival is a huge part of music culture not only in Japan but globally. Diverse artists and people make it a great vibe for all people.
Held mostly outdoors (with only one indoor stage) you must be well prepared for rain and shine, as you never know which way it will go. Maintaining its Japanese roots, there are hot springs you can soak in and nature walks.
Due to the dream-like location, the festival attracts hundreds of thousands of music lovers and renowned artists such as Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, and Coldplay.
This festival is the perfect opportunity to take a trip to Japan and even explore all the beautiful nature it has to offer, which you might not end up doing if you took a trip to the more typical places like Tokyo

What about COVID-19?
Masks will be required on all festival-goers at all times (no, we have no idea how they plan to enforce this). Organizers are also asking attendees to social distance, which, well we’re not sure how that will work either. (There may be a one-in-one-out policy around the stages). You’ll also have to input your data into the Fuji Rock app and the Niigata Prefecture Covid-19 Information System on LINE for contact tracing.
See you there!
